Is there a good, free software for the Curve 8320 to transform emails to be able to be viewed in HTML.. I think one is BBSmart but its not free? Anything else...

Example of non-free software: BBSmart - Software for your BlackBerry

None free, correct.

BBSmart is good, Empower HTML Viewer is good, too.

Both have trials.

Although I've been very happy with BBSmart, Empower has just released a new version of their html viewer and it's supposed to be fastest at rendering html email. Both have free trials like JSanders said, so why not demo them both and decide yourself?

I might get flamed for this, but...I would not have made the return to the BlackBerry-camp had I not purchased the BBSmart Viewer program on my previous 8300, and known that by recieving a new activation code that I could have it again on my new 8310. I totally and completely detest the way "stock" BlackBerry email is displayed, and feel that unless the user needs push email for business...there are better options out there, stock for stock. BlackBerry seriously needs to make some huge improvements here...

I have tried the older version of Empower...and feel that the BBSmart program is stellar in comparison with much more adjustability available. Plus, I find that Neil and company at BBSmart are dedicated to great customer service. And, that's something I can't say for every software company...

Just my 2-cents. YMMV.

Rumor has it that HTML email may be coming with OS 4.3 for those on BES 4.1.5 (I think that's the next version.)

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Its funny I am a very heavy email user and have never had an issue with HTML email. I may see the embedded link but no big deal.
