Default How can I delete all contents of an addressbook

My new BB 8300 accidentally has another employee's phone contacts in the addressbook. How can I delete all of them, so I can import my own?

From Desktop Manager, go into the backup tool and delete the contacts db.

I'm brand new to all this. when I open Desktop Manager
I get an error; "No Applications Configured for Synchronization." Then everything becomes grayed out and won't let me proceed. What am I doing wrong?

Also, will I delete the "Contacts.dlb" while connected to phone? Or delete from a backup and then restore that new altered backup?
