Why can't Blackberry bluetooth connects with other Blackberry? I turned both my Curve and Pearl's bluetooth on, however, both of them can't recognize each other. The only device they can pick up is my other Nokia 75. Why? |
Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100) They need to be put into viewable by other devices |
It works, I ran into some issues myself at first but was able to get them to communicate. Where are you getting stuck? |
You need to set each device to be "discoverable." Do this in bluetooth options. |
I did that and the two device recognize each other. However, when I tried to send a ringtone/pix from one Blackberry to another, the sending phone said "failed" transfer. Any idea? I turned both device's discoveries to On. |
After you get the two devices paired to each other then do the following: Transfer files / media via Bluetooth - BlackBerryFAQ |
Thanks! This forum rocks! |

any ideas what could have happened? all we were trying to transfer was 1 mp3 song. just a regular plain ol song. we tried both ways with me sending then him sending. as i mentioned it made it all the way to the transfer and even began transferring. thanks |
I think BB's need an electronic business card where you can send your info to another persons BB if they allow it. That would make it easy to give folks your business card. |
You can...just attach your address to an email or pin. |
I've tried transferring videos and music via bluetooth with 3 different blackberry's. the transfers keep failing. anyone else having this problem? i've done it successfully before so i know it works. is there somethign that i'm missing? thanks |
