Default No Radio Map Solution

I'm wondering if I am traveling internationally...can I use a mapping software sort of like a navigation system? -- Esp is my Radio is off?

Any ideas which would work best for me?

If you radio is off, i.e., no data connection, no.

The maps are downloaded to the device on all the mapping solutions I am aware of. The information is not stored to the microSD. You would need a data connection to be able to use it.
