Default Getting Rid of Signature

Please Login to Remove!

I use the Blackberry Enterprise Server system at work, and I can easily add and remove the email signature just as with Outlook. But my daughter is just getting her Yahoo Mail pushed to her 8310, and she says there's not even an option in email settings where it is on my device.

Anyone have any suggestions on how she can get rid of her signature ?

Thanks.

You need to edit your email account settings on your BIS site. The setting is not on your device

As Greg suggested, log into your BIS account and edit each email account there to delete (or change) the signature block.

I'm a little lost, too. I have AT&T and I added my Yahoo mailbox myself on the BB. If I edit the email options for Desktop I can edit and remove the 'sent from bb' message. But when I select the yahoo mailbox the option to modify or display the signature is gone. I don't know if I have BIS or BIS (how do I tell), or how to logon to the site. Do I need to get my IT support involved for this? Again, they did nothing regarding the add of the Yahoo account.

Thanks!

Is this a work BB or a personal one.

It's a Work BB. I looked at the FAQ you attached. I guess I used the Third Party Email Section for adding my Yahoo account. My Work account must be using BES to sync my Outlook.

It might be hooked to a BES and you might have to check with your IT Department. I am not very familure with BES.

Based on the FAQ, I don't understand how it would be hooked to my BES. I set it up using the Utility on the BB and it added the Yahoo Mailbox Icon and set it up automatically. I never had to contact my IT dept.

Ok so go to your BIS website and try and change it on the site. If it doesn't work try deleting the acount and re-adding it.

OK. I hear you, and I went to the AT&T BIS site. I said to Create Account, put in my PIN and IMEI Number and it said an account was previously created. I tried the usual account and passwords that I use and nothing worked. I tried the Forgot Password link, entered my PIN and it sent a note to my BB that the PIN did not have an account. So now I am really stumped!!

Since you set it up on your BB you will have to call AT&T and have them reset your account.
