Talking The big choice! 8310 or 8320?!?!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there.

I am about to buy my first BB having sold my Sony P1i and seen the light! I have spent the last few weeks reading threads on here (thanks for the help!) and it looks like the Cruve is the one for me. I could do with some advice however...

8310 or 8320?!?!

I am with O2 and can buy a 8310 for just under 200 pounds direct from them, as I am still in my Sony contract period, or I can try and buy a 'device only' from the States or online from somewhere else for about 80 pounds more.

The question I have is whether the wireless capabilty of the 8320 is worth the extra cash? I travel abroad a lot and am always horrified by how much my bill is when I get home. Would having wireless make things a lot cheaper? Or better?!

You also need to weigh it against the downside of buying a phone your carrier doesn't support and doesn't offer technical help. Plus factor in the problems of buying a used phone, if you go that route. I would check out the FAQ.

True.

Is the wireless a huge benefit though? I take it you can only use it at home or in places with free wireless that allows you access. A cafe or hotel with wireless is still likely to charge for the use, is that right?
