So I had a serious Blackberry issue on my 8310 with Vodafone which had the thing unable to send receive any mails or PINs, but everything else (including web browsing) was OK.

I did a WIPE and this has fixed the issue - I've reinstalled my third party apps such as BlackBerry Tracker and JiveTalk.... but lost my Vodafone apps which came with the 8310 as new such as Vodafone Sat Nav.

Is there any way of downloading these Vodafone apps and getting them reinstalled???!

Hi - yes tried that. In fact I tried it to try and fix the original problem (which I then fixed with the wipe) - but have also tried it to see if it brings back the Vodafone Apps and it does not sadly...

I'm thinking there must be some way I can download the Vodafone config to make my handset as it was when it came out of the box..... thats what I thought the wipe was gonna do!!!

Theres a semi-answer at the bottom of this with a direct link to Telenav... thats probably the solution so I'll give that a go!

Download the latest OS from Vodafone and upgrade your handheld with that. Make sure to check all the options you want installed when you do it.

Hmm - I did do this but tried again in case I missed something. The app loader in the Desktop Manager does show a bunch of stuff but no Vodafone Sat Nav... What a 'mare!!

My guess would be that it's an app they preload. You're probably SOL.
You may have some luck taking it into a store.

Hi - agreed.. I think it is a preloaded app. Vodafone Business seem quite helpful so I'll see what they have to say tomorrow. If all else fails I'm due an upgrade anyhow so I'll just get another one... I was waiting for some cool new unit to come out but looks like the 8230 is all there is.... and I can't see the point of having WiFi but no Nav - I use the Nav all the time.
