Two questions

I have two different questions.

One is that, whenever a new item is waiting on my curve, like an email, or a missed call, when I take the phone out of the holster, the item is automatically opened. Is there a way to avoid this?

And as a second question, is there a way to tell for an application, which data plan it uses (like wap or BB data plan?).

for the first one, I think there is nth you can do to aviod, maybe there are some users know!
but as the second one, u can call up your carrier, and ask them about it, cos for my carrier, for unlimited data, they dont include wap broswer....so it is best to call them up and ask!
hope it helps

For the first question, there is nothing you can do about it but wait a little longer. It is a default built into the BB to open documents like that. If you don't want it to open, simply wait a little longer to remove your BB from the holster.

Or, as a second option, get a third party case that doesn't have the "sleep mode" magnet in it, then the BB won't know when it is removed from the holster and won't open anything automatically.
