Default Problem! Need Help!!

I have a Curve 8300 in perfect working condition except when you make calls even on speaker phone it sounds like aliens. That is really the only way to describe, it sounds really weird. I have tried to search for the answer but no luck. Also speaker sounds perfect for anything else like music or ring tones just while in a call. I have already tried to replace the ear piece speaker and also wiped the OS and reinstalled. Still no luck. Any ideas????

Welcome, Jason... you waited quite a while for that first post here, huh?

At first thought I would say the speaker needs replacing, but if it works find for music etc., that can't be the answer.

How old is it? Can you return it for exchange?

PS, change the model # in your profile here.

Good luck.

For most hardware issues on BlackBerry devices, if after pulling the battery while the it's on and letting it sit for about 30 seconds before putting it back in doesn't fix the issue, you're going to either pay to replace the part from a third party vendor..... or just go back to your local store and have it replaced.
