Default just got my first blackberry & i love it, but I have some questions

Please Login to Remove!

I just got the 8310 from at&t, and I am a big fan...but I was wondering about a couple of things. I setup my email, but it seems that all of my email messages are being sent to my "messages" & my "email inbox"

Is there some kind of way to have them only sent to my inbox? and keep the messages section for text messages only?

Also, I have "hidden" a couple of apps I dont think I will use, but I was wondering how to bring them back.

Lastly, I know there are tons of apps and games that are free out there, but I was wondering if there is a repository for them, where I could search them?

thanks!

All of your messages, SMS, MMS and email go to the "master" Messages folder. When you set up an email account it creates an Icon which filters the view of the message folder to only show emails from that account. You can either hide the "Email created icon" and just use the message folder or use both. You do not have duplicate messages. I beleive their is a way on your OS to seperate email and SMS but I don't know the steps.

Does that help explain at all?

*Edit* I search and found this response for separating Text and Email.

"Go to email options and set your inbox/messages setting to Separate"

You can split your messages icons into the individual mailboxes, and one for SMS/MMS. You can do this in the Messages program, under Options/General Options/SMS and Email Inboxes (choose "Separate").

To see your hidden icons, just go to the Apps (icons) screen, hit the BB key, and choose "Show All."

Default All well and good, but...

When I separate my email and sms, my sms messages disappear and there's no corresponding folder created.
