Yahoo Messenger for Curve 8300 on ATT

I have the Curve 8300 and am on the ATT Network. I am on the BIS data plan. I downloaded Gchat and it loaded just fine and let me sign in.

I also downloaded Yahoo Messenger just fine but once I tried to sign in, the screen prompts "Service not enabled for this device" Whats the deal??

I have Y! Beta 3.0 and that works fine so its not an issue of my passwords not working. Any ideas??

To my knowledge ATT does not allow for the use of yahoo or any of the for blackberry services. Your best bet would be the use of JiveTalk.

AT&T does not restrict use of Yahoo messenger. It is fully functional on AT&T network.

JiveTalk is a great program.
