It all depends on the website. I have a username and password entered for wap.blackberryforums.com and it always logs me in automatically.

I know that if I log on to wap.blackberryforums.com and enter my info it will remember it the next time. However, if I log into wap.BlackBerryForums.com it will not remember the settings. You might check the shortcuts, bookmarks you're using.

Wirelessly posted (8320: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I think it does depend on the site. This site NEVER logs me out, some log me out very quickly, some not so quickly.

i know this, the same with me. cc-comp.org and gmail.com two frequently used sites never log me out... but on the bb it does... and im trying to figure out why.

Scott, please watch the language. I let it go once, but this is a "family" site and we have to keep it clean. Many people access from work and language can get others in trouble.

Did you try the wap.blackberryforums.com site? That's a wap version of this site. It always logs in automatically for me.

I don't believe the Gmail cookie gets saved (I may be wrong) for security reasons.

But yes, as JC has told you, many other site login cookies are saved on the BB.

Default Suggestions?

Might I have a few suggestions?

Scott,

Are you using WiFi to browse, or EDGE from your provider? IF both (along with Opera Mini on EDGE) I'm wondering if you're using different browsers (besides Opera Mini). WiFi Browser & Browser on your 8320. Double Check which one if you can please?

Also, doesn't Opera Mini have the option to clear cache upon exit? The one for my SonyEricsson K790a phone doesn't have this, but there are other options that even Opera Mini v3.4 had on my old Pearl that my K790a didn't have. Check in menu> settings.

Lastly, are you at times clearing out cache & history on either the WiFi / Browser? I doubt this is the case, but I say clear it out, history, everything the browser saves, exit & reboot just to be certain. Then try loggin, then close the browser not log out. Then re-enter the 'said' site.

Google has a Blackberry app for Gmail. There's an option to keep you logged on 24/7.
