Default Autolock & SoftReset app question...

I'm switching from a 8100 to a 8320, and I was wondering if the apps that I have for the 8100 will work on my 8320...specifically, Autolock and SoftReset...I love these programs, and I really hope they work. Or are there different versions for the curve?

(I'm waiting for delivery of my 8320, so I can't try the 8100 apps out...)

You don't need Soft Reset, as ALT / CAP / DEL will work as a soft reset on the 8320 (doesn't work on Suretype devices).

No idea about autolock. My BB locks itself after one minute anyway!

yea they work .. i had the 8100 and went to the 8310 and i just went to the DM and did a swtich device transfer of autolock and sofrest to my 8310 and it works great ..

Just found that you can standby if you hold the MUTE button for a couple seconds. It wakes up my hitting it again...or does it automagically when i pull it from my leather holster

cool...good to know about the ALT / CAP / DEL reset...

and yeah, the mute button / holster stand by sounds the same as the 8100. but according to what NJBlackBerry describes, sounds like it keypad locks anyway =)

Yes - if you have dial from home screen turned off, quickly pressing k locks the BB.

Yes, Autolock will work on the 8300 series. I have and use it on the 8310.
