Default Curve ringtones

Please Login to Remove!

sorry if this is real basic stuff. I have had a Curve for a month or so and can't work out how properly to change the ringtones etc. I want a diff one for phone, text, email, alarm. but when I peruse the media gallery, select ringtones, find one i like, the option it offers me is to set as "phone tune", not text etc.

and an old classic I am sure, can you give me a link to how i remove the BB text that goes automatically at end of each email

many thanks for your indulgence

michael

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

See profiles and drill down in menus and options. Edit the tone and vibrate options for browser, calendar, emails, etc.

On email sig, edit that at your carrier's BIS portal.

From carrier's BIS page, the page where you would add/delete/edit BIS email setup. If you haven't used it yet, look on blackberryfaq.com for the article that lists web addresses for carrier's BIS sites.
