Why does every single thread dealing with that is closed. I have that problem i am with T-Mo and i run a black berry curve i have swapped device 3 times and sim cards 2 times and still get that same problem i can do everything, email, text, multimedia but not make or receive a phone call. It is kind of frustrating and now i see why a cell phone can not and shall not be a replacement for a land line.

This sounds like a problem with your plan, from the T-Mobile end. I'd call customer service and see what they have to say. Clearly, if you're getting email and MMS you have an active Blackberry data plan. That's good. They must have your basic phone minutes plan de-activated.

Well if i move from my location to like a mile from here i can do it all phone calls and all. It seems a network issue it has been happening on and off for about 2 months.

Ah, that's a coverage issue. You're not getting a strong enough signal to make phone calls. I'm surprised data services work and not the phone. You might be better served to change carriers to one with better coverage in your area.

I can not agree with rambo47 more!

You need to change carriers to one that give you coverage. Does not matter how much cheaper T-Mo is if you have poor coverage! Bad coverage is a horrible thing!

You mention you have a Curve. 8320? Have you tried UMA when at this location?

The only information I've ever seen about this error is from the Blackberry Technical Solutions website. Here is a link to their article on the issue:

Radio Path Unavailable

The battery and SIM card removal method has *always* fixed it for the folks I got on the phone with that issue. If you continue to have the problem then it does either sound like a network related issue in your area or an engineering issue with your account.

I would continue to call into T-Mobile and push until they submit a trouble ticket to get the engineers involved. At the very least, ask them to submit a service request for your home address. This would get the local engineers in your area to go out and check the cell towers and equipment.

I have been getting that message at home (8320, TMo) for the past few days, BUT only when connected thru WiFi and trying to place a call. I was unable to call out, and people calling me went to TMo voicemail without my phone ever ringing. My wife also has an 8320 w/TMo, under a different account, and has not had the problem.

If I turn off my WiFi connection via the 8320, I can then make and receive calls thru the mobile network just fine.

A hot battery pull last night fixed the problem immediately. Unlike when I've done other resets lately, I received a registration email from Bberry (or maybe it was TMo) after the reset, and it put an Instant Messaging application icon back on my screen (not all the rest of the icons I've hidden, though).

I haven't been out of the country. I did not pull/reinsert the SIM card.
