Default Need help with new Curve 8301 (voicemail)

Please Login to Remove!

I can hit "1" to go to my voicemail but when others call me when I'm on the phone it gives them a busy signal if I hit "ignore" to send them to voicemail. I'm a confused novice.

hit the phone button, then menu > options and go to call forwarding. What options do you have selected there? (i have all unanswered calls forwarded to the same voice mail number)

Says "Do not forward". Is this the issue?

I've tried changing the "Do not forward" but there isn't any other option available.

hmm there should be another option. do you have call forwarding enabled on your plan?

I have no clue. It worked fine on my other phone. Not so much now. It goes straight to the busy signal if I call the phone from my home phone and hit ignore.

It does need to be set up to forward to your voicemail center if you're on the phone. I'd recommend calling at&t or visiting a store.
