Hi, i'm a new user. I got a Curve 8320 for T-Mobile in September and in November it started acting weird with these issues:

1. The timer sign shows up when I'm trying to do things like call or type or switch screens... really anything. When the timer is up, I can't answer calls.

2. Nothing shows up in my phone log AT ALL.

3. I can't recieve texts most of the time and when I send them it doesn't show that I sent them. Sometimes my AIM acts weird.

What can I do to fix this? Has anyone else had these issues?

Do a search in this forum under Memory Leak.

When was the last time you pulled the battery?

How much free memory do you have indicated in Status?

How much software did you install and what is running in the background.

Just pulling and reinserting your battery will help but read the other threads for a more long term fix.

We are all waiting on the new OS where I hope that RIM has addressed this memory leak thing!

I guess I took my battery out like a few weeks ago. I didn't install any new applications. my background is just a picture. I have 5918031 bytes of memory.

Take your battery out again today and see if your file free goes up. 5.9M is very low, and will cause the issues you're having.
