Default Major Messaging Problem

Please Login to Remove!

I've had my Curve since late July and up until the past month, I havent had any major issues with it. However, in the last 3 - 4 weeks, it has really been acting up, almost to the point of where I want to throw it out and go with something else. Keep it mind that my contract with AT&T was NOT up when I purchased this phone, so I paid the full 450 or so for it. Its not like I got a heck of a deal and am willing to jump over something minimal.

Here is the problem. It first started by me sending someone an MMS message, within minutes the phone would delete all of my MMS and SMS messages. Wether they be sent or received, they get deleted. It keeps my emails, which go to the same inbox, but nothing else is safe. It also deletes my call list at the same time. This problem lasted about two weeks and my solution was to simply yank the battery and then let it sit for a few minutes, place the battery back in and usually it would solve the problem for a day or two.

Now it has gotten to the point where once a day, no matter if I send or receive and MMS message or not, it is doing this. Tonight has sent me over the edge. It has done it today 6 times. The problem has escalated to now deleting text messages the second I get them. I get the vibration or the alert siren, go to click the message, open the inbox and right before my eyes it removes itself.

Im getting awfully tired of pulling the battery what now seems to be 5-10 times a day the past few days. Is there a fix for this or do I need another phone?

Thanks for you time.
