Google is not two way synced I think with BIS only yahoo is.

usually google will not sync two ways, some on here say it does, others (like me) have never gotten it to work, either pop3 or imap

hey, my first post on here, figured i'd try to be useful.

i use gmail with pop settings through bis on sprint on an 8130 pearl - it does work, but it is SLOW. i can delete emails in my gmail inbox and sometimes it can take hours to delete from the blackberry, sometimes it happens within 30 minutes, but typically at least an hour or more - not sure why, and not sure if it has something to do with the large number of people using gmail on blackberries via BIS instead of the 'gmail mobile app' - feels like google is deliberately trying to slog the system because they frequency of requests is so amazingly automated (imagine, circa every 20 minutes for every bb owner in the world with gmail set up through bis or bes)...

Is there a Gmail App for the BBerry? If so, what are the advantage/disadvantages comparing to the regular BBerry email?
