Hi, just wanted to get some clarity regarding the Blackberry's warranty. The problem is that I got a defect camera in my 8310 curve which I got as a present in January. When entering the camera mode, the whole phone will just freeze up and reset itself (I have tried fixing this through updating the software, but after trying everything, with the help of experts at this forum, came to the conclusion that it is a hardware problem)

The blackberry was bought late in december 2007, and I got it in January. It was bought at Best Buy on 5th Avenue, New York, with AT&T as it's carrier. However, AT&T gave me the unlock code, and it's now unlocked.

Ok, so here's the question.. how do I go about getting my BB replaced with a new one? Would I have to send it to the USA or is it possible to get it replaced here in the UK(where I'm currently located)? Is it AT&T's responsibility or is it RIM's responsibility?

Neither. You bought it a Best Buy. You'd need to return/exchange it there.

Thanks for the quick reply. So, basically, what you are saying is that I have to deliver it by post to Best Buy in New York to replace/exchange it? Or do I have to meet up personally in order to get a new one? Because that could be a problem.. As I am currently based in the UK.

I have no idea what Best Buy's return policy is.
I would suggest you call them and find out what your options are.
I'm sure you can find a customer service phone number on their website somewhere.
