Default email lagging issues

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I have both my Gmail and work email (exchange) on my Curve (8320) and sometimes there is a lag or email doesn't show up at all on my phone. Aren't you suppose to receive emails almost instantly as they are sent out? I have my emails configured through the T-Mobile site.

What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance guys!

Emails through BIS can (and usually do) take up to 15 minutes to be delivered to your BlackBerry device.

BES messages should be nearly instant.

GMail and Yahoo through BIS should be quite speedy too, but there's no guarantee that you'll get instant delivery through BIS.

true. Also, how quickly does email routed through your blackberry address get to your phone? (if you've tried that)
