Newbie, just got my Curve from TM. Sideways calculator is beyond complicated to use with the Qball (sorry, came from Palm touchscreen with classic calculator layout). Besides, this high-tech wizardry device with a bazillion configuration options only has a lowly 4 function calculator (where Palm has 7 built in). Hold off there on the comments, this a Corp push phone so I have to get it up to usability which I believe at least the BBE mail for Lotus Notes might just . . .

Anyway, found the Pocket10 calc, paid and downloaded but the BB App Loader says "no additional application for your device" when choosing the only .alx file Same with United Airlines flight sched. Calc program had all versions of the BB and each folder says same error.

Is the T-mobile not open for 3rd party software?

you have to load the handheld OS on to the PC as well as the desktop manager.

Thanks for the quick reply. Don't see the OS on the TM CD. But I did just download Google maps OK. So I think it is an application version difference?

Nice. Too bad that didn't come up in the FAQ's when I typed "no additional application" or any dirivative of that. There were a bunch of "Application Loader" ones when searched, missed it
