Please Login to Remove!

I love AccuRadio.com Listen to it everyday at work. I want to be able to listen to site on my Curve 8300 but nothing happens when player loads.

Anyone know of streaming radio website that works with bb?

Hey. I use a media player that streams different radio stations of my choosing. I'm actually testing out a few different players. They each cost about $20 so if you're looking for a freebie, they're probably not for you. But I like them both and think they're worth it. I'm using my 8320 w/t-mobile and lovin it.

The links are below. You'll need to put the http:// in front of each.

Just downloaded MediaPlayer. I love the fact that I can add my own stations. Unfortuantely, I have not been successful in getting the station that I added to play. I get "Connection Closed". I was able to listen to NPR though.

I have spent more time attempting to get streaming radio to work on my blackberry than any other setup. I can say that the majority of commercial radio stations (especially Clear Channel) do not stream successfully. I have tried all of my preferred stations' streams on all of the public streaming media players for BB, with very little success.

There a few sites out there that catalog URLs for radio stations, so a quick Google should turn up results. You can also visit your favorite radio stations site, and search there to get the stream address.

Default BerryTunes is the way to go

Hey. If you are looking for URLs, the answer is simple. I like to use shoutcast to find the URLs that i'm looking for to use in BerryTunes.
On your Windows machine, first make sure you have the latest RealPlayer.
Then in Internet explorer visit SHOUTcast | Free internet radio!.
Click on the yellow tunein button for the station you like.
It should open realplayer as long as you have it as your default. If you don't then set it to be for all types of music.
Then while RealPlayer is playing the stream, hold down ctrl I and it will bring up the URL for the stream.
Create a new station in BerryTunes with this url (example is http://scfire-dll-aa02.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1074).

This works for me every time and the streams are really good.

I'm looking for y-100 (Elvis Duran and the morning Zoo). This is a clear channel station and I'm wondering if I can get that on my Blackberry?

I live in your market and it was my understanding that you needed a third party app like Radio Bee which never worked for me.
