Default So a quick question

Can a battery cause a BB to freak out. I was using the phone for a while it shut off on me and had to pull battery out and put it back in for it to turn on. When it booted up it said I had a low battery(this is after a full charge) So I replaced the battery with another one and so far it hasn't done the problem but not sure cause i haven't been on the phone much. I'm just seeing if this is possible.

Could be. A faulty battery that doesn't supply the proper power could cause any device relying on proper power to go "wacky."

Was this a RIM battery or an aftermarket one?
How old was it?
