i finally traded in my Sidekick3 for a curve monday and im just waiting for it to come in the mail. It should arrive thursday or friday i hope. What is a a good package plan i should use? im gonna be using Wi-fi for sure b/c thats whats what convinced me to buy the curve. any help would be great. thank you so much!

also what is the UMA? i've been reading about it and im still confused on as to what is is.

it uses Wifi for your voice calls. So you don't use your minutes. Just sign up for the Hotspot @ home package which is $10 a month and you have unlimited minutes as long as your on wifi.

yea you need a data plan too if you want to take full advantage of the features the bb can offer.

You definitely should. T-Mobile only has one data plan for the BB. Blackberry Unlimited is 19.99. Just know that you will also have to sign up for a message bundle also because, unlike the SK, the BB data plan doesn't include texts or picture messaging.

so my myfaves600, the bb data plan, and the unlimited text shold work? or what? this is where i get confused b/c i LOVE my myfaves but if i use UMA, how will the minutes work when i leave my house? i feel so retarded

Sounds like a good plan. If you don't have the Hotspots@Home feature added for 9.99 you won't get unlimited calling via UMA. You will still be able to make calls over UMA but it will use your minutes. If you talk a lot at home and need the unlimited minutes then I would say to get the 1000 anytime and unlimited nights and weekends for 39.99 and H@H. If you seriously only talk to 5 or less people a lot then the Myfaves should be fine for you.

yea i only really talk to a handful of people and never really go over my minutes each month when i have myfaves..im gonna try this plan the first month and see where it gets me
