Hello,
New to BB and just wanted to introduce myself to the community. My wife and I just picked up a couple of Curve's (8310) from AT&T a night ago and I have been prowling on this forum ever since.

I've been able to already find great information, tips, advice related to the device ranging from John's memory guide to free ringtones/themes

I have noticed one item which is kinda annoying and it relates to the way the mailboxes work. I have my work email coming through the BSE, and my Yahoo mail setup via BIS. The issue that I am observing is that when someone emails my Yahoo account, I see the email in BOTH mailboxes!! Is this normal? I want to keep my work mailbox separate from my Yahoo mail.

Secondly, why do text messages/sent email all reside in the same folder as my work email? Theres alot more clutter in my work mailbox. I would think that non-email messages would be stored separately, right? Isn't that more logical?

To answer your question, yes it is normal to see all email accounts in your "Messages" folder. You should NOT see your BES email in your BIS account folder though.

I would have expected that BIS would not merge with BES especially since BB is known for its enhanced email capabilities over other companies...in my opinion it just does not seem too logical.

and for text messages, you can split sms and email by going to messages and going to options.
