I just purchased a new curve, there are a couple problems.


1) It does not give me an option to set up email on the handset. What can I do?

2) TMO gives the option to use ICO AIM MSN messengers, and when I go to use it is says i need to activate it, then attempt from the handset and it says the system requirements are not able to use. What can I do?

did you get a BlackBerry data plan? if not, you should get it and your BlackBerry will be a full BlackBerry for what it is

now they said it should take up to 48 hours for the features to become avail. but i already have the internet (not wifi).

try to pull the battery with the BB still on and put it back in after 30s; then try again

yup, first time BIS activation for t-mo takes up to 48 hours to kick in...usually sooner. be patient!!! good luck...

Any change to your account involving a data plan can take up to 48 hours not just the Blackberry ones.
