Is there a point in switching to BB plan from T-Mobile data plan Ok so i know the difference between the genaric data plan and the black berry plan. I have T-mobile and i am using there $20 data plan and everything works fine except the usual like no OTA downloads and the blackberry software'. Here is my Question is there a point in even switching to the blackberry plan thats the same price as the data plan. i really dont plan on using the black berry software. Or should i just quit being a fool and switch to it. |
Get a BlackBerry data plan--you get full 100% BB usage. Plus you get more for the same price. |
why do you have a blackberry then? if its the same price what benefit do you have to the generic data plan that you would lose switching to the BB data plan |
Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8310/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/164) Suncom added on the bb plan to mu current plan for 15 bucks (my normal data plan is for unlimited MMS etc.) For the unlimited internet, emails etc. Etc. Now I just hope all this GPS is included too, otherwise my bill will be outrageous haha |

Why would you NOT switch? |
GPS is free as long as your device is GPS enabled, but you need the BB dataplan to use the map applications which take the GPS and map data and turn them into useful (visual) information. |
I don't understand what kind of plan you have. Is it the Blackberry Unlimited add on plan for $19.99? I am with Tmobile as well and have this plan. I can do OTA downloads just fine. I'm not aware of some generic data plan for 20.00. |

Um. That's what I said. ;) You need a BB data plan to download maps. |
