Default Roxio trying to re install?

Please Login to Remove!

I have Desktop Software v4.2 SP2 and Windows XP with service pack 2 installed. I've had v4.2 SP2 installed for 2 1/2 months with no problems.

Today upon my first boot -- Windows Installer popped up and said: "preparing to install' Media Manager. Eventually a message came up saying:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available"
Insert the 'Roxio Media Manager' disk and click OK

I haven't installed anything new lately. I'm assuming something in Roxio Media Manager is corrupt.

Should I uninstall Desktop Software v4.2 and re-install?

Thanks,
Crockett

Default

Well -- I went ahead and tried to uninstall Desktop Manager 4.2. Before the program is uninstalled an error message comes up saying:

"Error 1500. Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one."

I've opened Task manager and closed anything Roxio related and Blackberry related. Tried the uninstall again -- and had the same result.

What do I do now?

Thanks,
Crockett
