Default Delete address book, then sync (using BES)

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user who's address book on their 8300 is pretty screwed up, I want to delete the address book on their 8300 without it deleting any items from Outlook/Exchange 2003, and then sync the address book up again (we use BES).

Is there a recomended procedure for achieving the above ?.

Looking at my 8300 I can't see an option anywhere to delete ALL items from the address book, can this be done ? (other than wiping the whole device). If this can be done I suppose that I must turn address book wireless syncronisation OFF otherwise all of the contacts in their Outlook address book will also delete ?.

If it is possible to wipe the address book on the device will turning address book wireless syncronisation back to ON cause the device to then sync up with Outlook ?.

Thanks

Default

Advanced mode in the Backup utility in Desktop Manager will allow you to wipe databases on the BB.
