Default Managing contacts via PC

I just got my Curve today, and I'm trying to find out if there's an easy way to edit current contacts and add new contacts using my laptop. I've looked through the supplied software, but don't see anything for doing that. Am I missing something?

Not in the BB supplied software... but BB Desktop Manager will sync seamlessly with MS Outlook. Edit and enter new contacts in Outlook.

AND, welcome to the BBF.

Thanks mate. I'll give that a shot. I have to say that I've only been using it for an hour now and it's a very impressive device. The media player is great. I was able to get it connected to my wpa2 AP at home. Connecting to email and IM took 2 minutes literally. So far, it all just "works". I should have gotten one sooner.

Also, don't forget it's also possible to sync to Yahoo and Outlook Express. Both of which are free.

I use Yahoo as a backup of my addresses once in a while. That'll come in handy if my laptop and phone get stolen while I'm traveling.

Is there a way to select certain contacts in Outlook to sync with BB or do you have to add your complete Contact list?
Thank you.

In outlook using a manual sync on Desktop Manager, only the contacts in the main Contact folder of Outlook will sync. If you certain contacts NOT to sync to your BB, move those in Outlook to another subfolder first, like create a subfolder named "Not synced" and move them there.

Your profile says you have an 8310, which does NOT have wifi. How did you connect to your wpa2 AP with that device?
