Question Forwarded Call Indication? - 03-02-2008, 09:48 PM

My wife has two cell phones, a Motorola on the AT&T network and a RIM 8320 on the T-Mobile network. She has her all her AT&T/Motorola calls forwarded to to her T-Mobile/8320. The question is this:

Is there a way to designate a distinct ring tone for all the forwarded calls?

Or, alternatively (although not ideal) is there a way to designate a ring tone for an area code, or group of area codes?

Thanks in advance for your help and guidance!

I am not sure if a program does exist but shouldn't be to hard to create because the network (at least T-Mobile) does send a notification at the start of the ring cycle that it is forwarded.

I don't think that's possible unless you can set it up with exceptions somehow.

I'd like to know myself. I run a home business and froward my calls to my cell when i'm out. My phone will display "Forwarded Call" for a few seconds.

Ok, glad to hear that this is/was not a RTM (read the manual) kind of question, and equally glad to hear there's at least one other person out there who would find this functionality beneficial.

Looking forward to any other suggestions/approaches that may be available.
