Default Connection to BB using windows explorer - 03-02-2008, 09:54 PM

When I connect my BB Curve to my computer via USB cable, it shows as a new drive in windows explorer....but when I select that drive, it gives an error stating "Please insert a disk into Removable Disk (H.".

I would like to be able to just connect and access the MicroSD card from windows explorer, without having to click on Media Manager from the Desktop Manager.

I am running Windows Vista, so not sure if there is some setting in the OS to allow this.

do you have mass storage mode enabled on the BB? If so, it could be a drive letter assignment problem.

Mass storage mode support is "on", but the "auto enable mass storage mode when connected" was not. I switched that to "yes" and it now prompts me how to connect to the storage device and I can select windows explorer. Thanks!
