For some reason sometimes when I am on a call, my call gets cut and the phone resets. Red LED and sand tube everything! It has happened twice in a row so far. I'm just worried.

Thats not good at all. Is the device still under warranty? If so do a backup using the desktop manager and return to the device to the store.

You can try a bunch of things like reinstalling the OS, or updating the OS, but I'm going to second the warranty exchange as the best option.

Oh wait, this is the 8300 forum. Do you have the 8320 and are you on UMA when this happens? Could be the router in that case.

I am on the 8320 and on the UMA. Come to think of it... hasn't happened when I am away from my home!

Very likely the interaction with the router is the problem.

Some routers like N capable routers, several Belkin models, some ISP provided routers, etc. seem to have problems. My Verizon Fios supplied router doesn't play nice with my Curve so I have a Linksys router added to my network.

I am going to try without wifi for a few days and see how it goes from here. Thanks!

As others have said, it very well could be your router, but if you set it for mobile network only and it still reboots during calls, you should exchange it. I had the same problem and tried everything, but eventually I called T-Mobile and they mailed me a new one. I haven't had the problem since.
