i just purchased the 8300 hundred...i took the media card out of my bb pearl and it won't work in the 8300 hundred...do i have the wrong kind?...HELP!

When you say it doesn't work, are you receiving any error messages? Also, does the BlackBerry show up as a drive letter when you connect it to the computer?

Connect it to the computer and see if it shows up as a drive letter. If it does, then right click on the drive letter, then go to Properties, then Tools. Click on the Check Now button in the Error Checking section. Check off Automatically Fix File System errors and then click OK.

what kind of media card do you need for the blackberry 8300....can i use micro sd?

how about you put it back in you pearl... hook it up to your computer (mass storage mode) then copy and paste all of the info onto your PC. then move the card to your curve, format it, then connect back to your computer and move everything back on it?

will take a while to do all those step but that should clear it all up

it won't let me format it on my curve...it says media format failed!

also, what does it say under file free in the media card options? the card itself may not be in the curve properly
