Default SMS Message icon has gone missing

Please Login to Remove!

I used to have a text message icon next to my email account message icon, but now its gone. The only way to read a text message received is to send a text message from within my address book, this then shows my test message history. I have removed the battery to reboot but it is still gone. Any ideas?

Wirelessly posted (8310; The Juggernaut)

Application button = Menu key left of the trackball.
If not as Dawg stated, also make sure you have not accidentally moved the icon to a folder.
Good luck.
