Wirelessly posted (blackberry 950)

Do you have a BB data plan?

There is a preinstalled IM app on the 8310

Personally I think jivetalk is a better app costs a little bit but well worth it

Wirelessly posted (curve 8310)

No unfortunately all I see under community icon is 1 " music community " and I've gone to aol mobile and it more or less tells me someone hasn't created a version of AIM for the curve 8310 yet, hopefully soon? ;)

BeeJive :: JiveTalk mobile messenger - instant messaging to go

I just bought it today. You can download the trial first if you would like to. It is an amazing messenger. Well worth the money. It can also be transfered from Blackberry to Blackberry if you buy the 30 dollar license.

I know what you mean... There are no free messengers out there that are as good as Jivetalk. However, if you are interested in getting $5 off your purchase, here is a coupon code: RIMEDU

I mean if you are really interested in free, not as good messengers, check out this thread: BlackBerry IM Chat Apps/FAQ - MSN/AIM/ICQ/Yahoo/Google [UPDATED]

I still think you should already have an AIM messenger already on your phone.

Nope, it knows your PIN number and it will not allow it.
