Default 8300 or 8310

Hi guys!

I'm new and willing to jump on the BB wagon. I had 8800 for few days to try out and i was enjoying it very much. One can really tell that bb platform is optimized and stable.

But i see that 8300 has more options and camera. Is there any quality difference between 8300 and 8310. I never seen 8310 in person but i did 8300 and it seems that 8310 looks better with the darker gray color.

What do you suggest? I don't need GPS really that much, so this is not a problem. But i wanna know if there is any quality difference between the two?

I still feel that 8800 have more elegant look with it's glossy black and chrome. What do you think?

I did also play with iphone. Well it's nice machine and I'm mac head for years, but i feel that for example 8800 is more business oriented machine and it get job done quickly. Also typing on the iphone is tedious. At least for me. To many typos. In few days i had 8800 i quickly adapted. I almost typed as fast as i do blindly on my macbook pro.

Well i don't know how is typing on 8300 series. It seems that there is more space between letters. Any way. I found that 8800 keyboard is doing well for me.

I think that is great, that you can get practically any part for example 8800. From keyboard, trackball enclosure. I use my phones as working tool and while operating daily it fly from my hands many times. So replacement is easy and user can do it. On iphone for example you cannot even change the battery yourself.

Enough talking from my side

Please kindly advise...

Wirelessly posted (8310; The Juggernaut)

I've had both 8800 and 8310, and my personal opinion is the 83xx keyboard is easier.
The only difference with the 8300 and the 8310 is the gps.

I had 8700 8800 and currently on 8310.

The 8800 is much more solid than 8310, feels much more expensive. The 8310 is more easier to use (keyboardwise). The cam feature is not that important, as it's useless.

If compare 8300 and 8310, I think the GPS is very useful, I don't use it alot, but it's very useful when you need it. I was in Tuscany last summer (Italy), and I got lost, we drove around for 4 hours in the mountain could find our home back, then finally made it, from then I took my 8800 all the time with us and never got lost again.

I agree the 8800 feels studier, it does. But after using both for six months, I can get over the "feeling" for what I think is the more user friendly keyboard layout. Besides, feelings blur sight.

What? Useless? I guess if you have never used it, sure.
