Default Att BB 8310 unlocked wont work on tmobile

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Att BB Curve 8310 unlocked, its working with my T-Mobile SIM as a phone but I cant use the internet, I have a BB plan on my T-mobile line just cant use the internet on the BB, Some one told me that i have to flash the firmware with T-mobiles software to get it to work, can some one help me.

did you set your APN/TCP settings under options > advanced options > TCP ?

i dont think t-mobile's firmware will work, because they dont have an OS for the 8310...only the 8320. i just bought an unlocked 8310 yesterday and its working fine w/ att's OS.

the bb plan from t-mobile does take a bit for it to start working..if it doesnt you might wanna call t-mobile's tech support

Ok i got the internet working, and the email. all i had to do is pop in a att sim card so that the web icon would come up then i popped in the tmobile sim back in.

I checked this and it set to cingular, do u know what i should change this to for tmobile?

This is what it says:

APN: wap.cingular
Username for APN
[email address]
Passweork dor APN: ***********


For tmobile all i have to do is change one thing to wap.voicestream.com? what will that change on my phone? looks like everything works so far.

the others should be blank. i also have unlocked 8310 on tmo with no problems
