First i got a no name sd card 1gb every time i connect the phone to the computer nothing would come up under media and removable storage or no window would pop up so i can just drag and drop files into my phone sd card. In the phone all the settings are correct, the phone sees the card i can format the card and store files no problem. In the phone settings i also put yes for enable the mass storage when phone is connected, also for encryption mode i put none. No i got the SanDisk sd card 2gb same problem no window pops up when it connected, every time i want to transfer the files i have to use micro sd adapter put the card there put it in my computer, shut the phone off take battery out..... Any solution to this? Thanx!

I think you are saying you are having the problem when linked with the DM. Which DM are you using?

What do u mean, desktop manager 4.3, and i have curve 8310

If you are wired to the Desktop Manager 4.3, uninstall it and install 4.2.
4.3 has a lot of bugs and may be the source of your problem.

Ill try that, thanx, ill try my pearl too and see if anythign shows up when i plug it into the computer if the window pop ups.

you need the desktop software installed on a pc for it to show the phones sd card, you also need the desktop software installed to usb charge the phone.

I would try what wabbit stated before looking at my suggestion.

i installed 4.2 still no luck, because usually when i plug in devices my computer pops up window with whats on the sd card, but i cant get it to do that with curve!

It sounds like you want to use Mass Storage Mode with your device.

Actually you don't need Desktop Manager, but you do need the Device Manager, which is a part of the Desktop Manager package. You can install only the Device Manager by choosing the Custom option, and choosing not to install the Desktop Manager (which will in turn only install the Device Manager).

In your case, you said you have the Desktop Manager installed. You can confirm that the Device Manager is working by plugging your device in with the USB cable, and checking your Curve's screen to see if the device is charging. If so, your driver is probably working okay.

The next step is to ensure you have Mass Storage mode turned on with your device. Go to
Options > Media Card
and make sure you have
Media card Support = ON
Mass Storage Mode Support = ON
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected = YES

If you don't have a password, then this should make your media card show up as a flash drive (but probably won't "pop up" like you see with flash drives, you'll need to go to Explorer and look under My Computer).
