If you backed it up using DM, you you should be able to recheck and install it with the App Loader. That is delete the current version off the phone before attempt. Other way is to grab the TMobile OS off thier site. All I can think of at the moment unless Microsoft has it on their site.

Thanks, so I did the first thing, removed the older version and connected my BB to my BB desktop software (V. 4.5) and I choose load program and it only shows the programs that I have already installed like viigo, yahoo Go etc. It doesn't show any existing or pre-loaded programs. And the last time I backed it up was months ago and I'd hate to start over again. Also I googled it and no luck. And microsoft doesn't have it. Well I guess I'm just being picky, cause to be honest with you guys V. 1.0.16 looks exactly like V. 1.0.21. The only difference that I see between them is that under advance options-applications it says "MSN Messenger" and the newest one said "windows Live Messenger" it just bothers me to have an older version of it when I already had the newest one installed. :(

Try going to www.blackberry.com/livemessenger from your BlackBerry Browser. I think that's where you can download the latest version.

I did that and its V. 1.0.16 and the T-Mobile Curve comes with V. 1.0.21 pre-installed. Why is RIM doing this to me!! Haha man I don't know if its my OCD or just BB addiction that bothers me having an older version of Windows Live Messenger!!!

I am out in the philipines using smart wireless. i can get all the messangers to load by changing the vendor id in the .alx. But, I guess it wont load because of the service books.

Is there anyway to fake it? or upload service books for the messanger services?

Anyone know? plz help

MSN is not working for me (8310 OS 4.2 and/or 4.5) either ..

- why ? - I guess the fact that this is not a Win Mobile 6 platform has something to do with it .. unlike Google talk that works on everything !!! Oh well ..

anyway .. my solution to that was -- pay $20 and get JiveTalk and use that for Google, Live and ICQ at the same time (with only one app running in the background) .. not bad.

No idea why, but it has been like that for quite awhile, my Blackberry 8320 has .21 and the website has had .16 for as long as I can remember it being available. You can add it back on using desktop manager.
