Hey guys, well i've started with the 8830 and then onto the Pearl 8130. Now verizon seems to be introducing the Curve in hopefully May and I'm looking to possibly get my hands on it. What do you guys think? Is it worth switching devices? Is there really any features gained aside from the nice QWERTY keyboard? The size is in between the 8830 and the pearl right? So it's a pretty decent size.

The pearl is nice but the buttons are hard to recognize without looking, imo.

How do you guys like your Curves? Plus is the verizon curve going to have Wi-Fi?

it has expanded internal memory, the same OS as the pearl, video recording, expanded RAM as well.

I have a the 8130 and 8830, if I run to the Curve, the post above me saids it all. "Expanded Internal Memory" This will enable you to run a lot more apps.

There won't be any wi-fi, but with verizon's EV-DO you don't really need it. I have owned the 8703e, the 8830 and now the 8130. I will definately get the 8330 but I think I will wait awhile for the bugs in the OS to be worked out. I waited until last month to get my 8130 and it's not too bad, still buggy but I am sure it is somewhat better than it was on launch day.

If you do a lots of emails, you will live the full keyboard.

I tend not to because the small keys and suretype technology drives me away from it. I think I'm going to make the switch.

IMHO, the curve is currently the best smartphone on the market right now. Better than a pearl, an iPhone, HTC touch, you name it ...

I'd say get it.

I'm glad my mother has an upgrade I can rob. I just upgraded last year in August to the 8830 and that was a nightmare.
