Wasn't the new release suppose to be named v4.5? I guess I'm confused now. Is this some sort of hybrid? Not quite 4.2 and not quite 4.5?

4.3 was branched. 4.3.0 is the version available here. 4.3.1 was made into 4.5. As far as I know, the only major differences in 4.3.0 and 4.5 is the Doc2Go and HTML email (once BIS/BES is upgrade).

No. 8330 = CDMA Curve with 96 MB of RAM. Firmware versions won't work across different radio families (or between models with the same radio I don't think...)

Shake, welcome to the BBF... enjoy.

THIS thread we are in right now IS for the 8330, and for nothing but the 8330.

OS releases are for EACH model specific. For the 8300, 8310, or 8320, you MUST find the OS that states in the name of the file that model number. Very simply. You cannot cross OS installations between models.

I thought I had installed 8310 software on an 8320 before.
