neither of your posts are really on topic. if you dont have something to add just let it go. this has been mentioned in other 4.5 threads but it is burried. this will help others with the same problem. if you dont want to read a 4.5 thread, just dont. back on topic.

YES! We need a million of them. The official will be here soone enough. And when it gets here, all the hype will be over... I think were setting ourselves up for dissappointment though. Its just an operating system. And there are bound to be more of them to follow...

The OS "IS" here for some. I'm not dissappointed- I love the improvements and wouldn't go back - even with "reply requested" on text! I also get a red "!" on some text without the sender adding it- makes it more colorful.I think it has to do with whether the sender is in my address book, or has a individual ringtone- designates an "important call" like in profiles.

SAME HERE .. 4.5 is MUCH better than 4.2 hands down (esp. what they did with the camera/geotagging/video/voice recorder (and a few other minor things) .. i had a couple of issues (esp. with Gmaps) and by reading through the "thousands" of threads i got ALL the answers ..
as far as i am concerned - keep posting (and a thank you to the guys maintaining the forums) ..


To try to answer your Q:
I personally do not see any "reply request" for sms
There is a delivery confirmation for sms and more options when it comes to emails like "confirm read" or "send read receipts" etc. but no "reply request" .. sorry i couldn't help more.
