Default sync issue - 04-23-2008, 04:39 PM

My calander won't sync with outlook today, I get an error saying "there are duplicate entries on the device".
I looked forever for dups and I cant find any. I do a sync a couple times every week, last time on monday with no problem. I've tried everything even syncing 1 day ahead and even 1 day back, same error.
Anyone ever have this happen? how to fix?

Connect the device and go into backup/restore>Advanced Select the calendar database on the right hand side (handheld side) and click clear.
Exit out and hit synch now. That should clear the issue.

Offhand, if your outlook calendar is up to date, consider using advanced in backup/restore to delete the calendar on the handheld, then re-sync.

ADDED: I was beaten to the punch . . . But I'll add that even if your outlook (or last backup) isn't up to date, you may not have a choice. Good luck.

That happened to me just the other day. I did what was posted and have had no problems
