Smile General error when calling voicemail *2

Please Login to Remove!

Hello I am having trouble calling my voicemail (the number is *2) everytime I try to call voicemail trhu speed dial or directly trhu phone keyboard, I receive same message:..." ! Supplementary service error: General error..." I am using an unlocked T-mobile 8320, with another carrier (Movistar in South America).

I remember, time ago, that I did have a similar trouble with a unlocked motorola phone I bought overseas, I remember that if I want to call my voicemail, I have to do it trhu the sim card services, then select voicemail, then select call, etc...etc... I try to do it trhu the sim icon on the BB phone named like this: movistar then press >services > then....... but here the phone shows the sandclock for a while than sandclock dissapear and thats it, nothing happend...?

Does anyone experience the same trouble, or know how to solve it????

Is there not a normal number you can call to access VM?

Are you sure it is *2, not Hold 2?

Here on Rogers (and all of North America as far as I know) to access your VM you Hold 1 or you can call the actual 10 digit phone number.

Also when you have vm "Call VM" will be one of your option on almost every single menu. Can you use that option?
