Default Curve photo transfer

Please Login to Remove!

Surely there is a way to download a picture taken with the Curve to my desktop. I've been trying Desktop Manager but am too dumb to figure it out.

PS I don't use the e-mail so I don't want to send it via the phone.

Default transfer camera photos

I have a media card and Desktop Manager. Isn't that enough to do the transfer? (Be gentle, I warned you I'm stupid.)

Where does your camera save the pictures (camera > options > scroll to bottom)?

Here, it is very simple:

First, check the settings:
1. Go to Settings >> Advanced Options >> Media Card
2. Check the following settings (if they are not listed this way, then change to reflect the following:
a) Media Card Support: On
b] Mass Storage Mode Support: On
c) Auto Enable Mass Storage: Yes
3. Save the settings and exit

Then, transfer the files:
1. Make sure desktop manager is not open
2. Plug the device into the PC using the usb cord
3. A pop up box will open, select Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer
4. Minimize this window (click the - in the upper right hand corner)
5. Open another instance of Windows Explorer
a) Start Menu >> Windows Explorer
6. Navigate to the folder where the file(s) you want to transfer are located (such as e:// removable drive)
7. Right mouse click on the file(s) and select Copy

Default ok, but...

Fine, my Curve was configured the way you told me to check. And it is also my understanding that when you take a picture it saves it to the Media Card. And when I look in my Curve I see the picture I am trying to transfer...but when I connect the Curve to my PC and Open the Blackbery folder, the Mucis folder has all my music, BUT the Pictures folder is empty.

????????????????????????

Just "understanding" that your camera will automatically store pictures on the Media Card is not enough, it is not the automatic. With your Camera open, Menu > Options > scroll to bottom and does it say "Device Memory" or "Media Card"? Set it to Media Card.

You will want to transfer all the current pictures from the device memory to the Media Card. Find a picture in "Media", select Menu > Move and navigate to the Media Card > Pictures folder. You will need to do that one by one.

Default Killer photo transfer for the Curve also Pearl - try this

This free application works great for photo transfer. Go to Welcome to ITookThisOnMyPhone.com - Automatic Wireless Photo Upload from your Curve and download the free application. It then allows all or any photos that you choose to be sent automatically to your web account. Check it out, it works great on my Pearl.
