I just purchased my first blackberry really liking it, from a razr.

But is there a way to password protect the email/sms messaging area and the picture area? one or the other if not both....

No. You can password protect the entire device, but that's it.

Au contraire--cool is exactly what it is. And don't misuse it or forget your password because the BB is ironclad secure and you will loose all you have if you don't treat the password security with respect.

Make a backup of your BB before you add the password. That could save you should you forget or lose the password.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

And don't use "QWERTY" as a password.

Haha qwerty didn't even cross my mind ;) ..... yes i will have to do a backup cause i am gonna have to make this password thing happen last night i already had some prying eyes... i cant have peeps peeps looking at my agenda/todo list haha. and slapping the fone out of their hands isn't exactly effective since they will just get more curious n wait till i leave the fone somewhere.
