Default Desktop Software

Previously I had a Palm Tungsten C which had desktop software which allowed you to from your PC add information on the PDA. In other words you could work on your PC and then sychronise the date to the PDA.
The Blackberry desktop appears to be very limited, really just an install and synchronise programme.
My question is, is there any other software around that provides the facilities I had with the Palm Desktop?

Welcome to BlackBerry Forums.

This is a very commonly asked question. Most people use Outlook to manage their PIM data, and then sync it using the included Intellisync program to their PC. There is no "Palm Desktop" like functionality in DM.

There are also a few other PIMs that are integrated into Desktop Manager, including Lotus Notes and some others.
