Hey all. I'm new to the forum. Anyways I have a couple problems here with my 8320. First of all, when I plug my bb into my pc and use desktop manager anything I try to do takes a really long time. When I click on app loader or media manager. Or anything with the manager it takes a long time to respond. When I used the app loader last it took almost 15 min just to add some language support options. I know this can't be normal.

My second issue has something to do with the first actually. After adding some things with the app loader and disconnecting my bb I noticed that my yahoo messenger icon had disappeared from the instant messenging submenu. What's weird is that when I go to my applications list in the options menu it still lists yahoo messenger there. I just can't find it anywhere on my bb.

Ok I solved the yahoo messenger issue(just downloaded a newer version). But the main issue stil remains. Whenever I connect my bb to my pc, anything I try to do between the two on desktop manager lags considerably. Like it takes a lot of memory or the pc has to work too hard to complete any task.I'm really concerned abou this because I ordered a 4 gb micro sd and I am going to be very upset if I still have this problem when I try to download files onto my card from my pc. Please guys give me any advice or comments you can.

What version of DM are you using? 4.3?

I would recommend a complete uninstall of 4.3 and download 4.2, ServicePack 2, withOUT the Media Manager. You really don't need the Media app anyway, see my link here...

Hey, thanks a lot for replying. 4.3. I will do the uninstall and try the lower ver as soon as I can. Once again, thank u for replying. And yes, I was using DM ver.
